Why Prompts Matter More Than the Model
Two people using the same AI model can get dramatically different results — the difference is entirely in how they write their prompts. A well-structured Gemini prompt consistently produces professional images. A vague prompt produces generic, unusable results.
This guide covers everything you need to write prompts that work.
The Anatomy of a Great Gemini Prompt
Every strong image prompt has 5 components:
[Subject] + [Setting/Context] + [Lighting] + [Angle/Composition] + [Style/Quality]
Example:
- Subject: *"A professional woman in her 30s working on a laptop"*
- Setting: *"modern minimalist home office with plants"*
- Lighting: *"soft natural window light from the left"*
- Angle: *"eye level, shallow depth of field"*
- Style: *"photorealistic commercial photography"*
Lighting Vocabulary
Lighting is the single most important factor. Learn these terms:

What NOT to Include in Prompts
- Watermark, text overlays, logos (Gemini sometimes adds them)
- Specific real people or celebrities
- Contradictory instructions (*"dark bright dramatic soft"*)
- Too many subjects at once
Always add: *"no text, no watermarks, no logos"* to keep images clean.
